How Equine Intelligence Works
Equine Intelligence is New Zealand's performance intelligence platform for show jumping. We collect and structure competition data, then surface it as rankings, analytics, and benchmarking tools — so riders, owners, trainers, and breeders can make better decisions with evidence-backed insight.
Standardised competition data
Event and class results are imported and structured into consistent, queryable data fields.

Ranking Methodology
All rankings are based on first-round results only — jump-off rounds are captured but excluded from rankings to maintain consistency. Both SJ faults and time faults are recorded. Horse performance is aggregated across all riders, while rider analytics are tracked independently.
The Elite Rankings use a season-based points system weighted by class height (1.40m → 1.50m+), field size, and competition strength — designed to reward consistent performance in quality fields, not just wins in small classes.
